Prosper, Texas – December 6, 2011 – Bugs-n-Blooms, LLC, a company specializing in butterfly decorations for little girls’ rooms, as well as butterfly wings and costumes for dress-up fun, is pleased to announce the introduction of its newest line of butterfly room accessories – Hailey butterfly curtain tie-backs. In addition to the butterfly themed tie-backs, the company has also introduced a new line of two-tone nylon flower tiebacks and a special wall quote to complement butterfly bedroom themes.
The new Hailey nylon butterfly tiebacks were designed to coordinate with a line of butterfly decor that was inspired earlier this year by the daughter of Bugs-n-Blooms owner, Jennifer DeVol. In the spring of 2011, DeVol became enamored with a drawing that her daughter, then eight years old, drew of a butterfly that was both whimsical and fun. Based on that drawing, DeVol commissioned a festive line of multi-colored nylon butterfly wings that resembled her daughter’s childlike butterfly rendering, adding to an already expansive selection of butterfly wings.
“The Hailey butterfly decor has been very well-received by our customers since it was first introduced,” explains DeVol. “And like many of our other butterfly decorations, customers continually request matching accessories so they can fully coordinate the room that they are decorating. That is why we have chosen at this time to introduce a line of Hailey butterfly curtain tie-backs in popular color combinations. They are the icing on the cake when designing a feminine and whimsical butterfly nursery or bedroom.”
In addition to the Hailey tie-backs, DeVol’s other new tie-back options include two-tone nylon flowers in a choice of pink and purple, pink and green, or pink and brown. These are among the most popular color combinations offered by Bugs-n-Blooms. An adorable and dainty removable wall sticker is the final new product being offered by the company this holiday season. The 14” x 7” removable vinyl sticker includes pink scroll edging with an image of a triple layered butterfly and a glitter ladybug and the quote “With a butterfly kiss and a ladybug hug, sleep tight little one, like a bug in a rug!” The removable vinyl sticker is a nice accent over a crib or little girl’s bed or it can also be used to adorn furniture or lamp shades.
“As always, we at Bugs-n-Blooms aim to provide our customers with the ultimate selection of sweet, innocent and beautiful decor for babies and little girls’ rooms,” says DeVol. “We also recognize that people love our garden-themed decorations for baby boys’ rooms as well, and with that in mind, our next new product release will be a special surprise for boy themed bedrooms. So, be sure to check back soon!”

Prosper, Texas – February 2, 2011 – Bugs-n-Blooms, LLC, a leading supplier of butterfly wings, butterfly decor and dress up clothing, and other feminine garden-themed accessories, is pleased to announce their inclusion in the Winter/Holiday 2010 edition of Tots to Teens Magazine. The digital magazine was recently introduced by the Tots to Teens website and features a collection of interesting products and merchandise that appeal to individuals with children of almost all ages, from babies and young children through to teens.
Bugs-n-Blooms offers a wide selection of butterfly merchandise, along with related merchandise that fit in with the dainty, feminine and whimsical theme of the company’s product line. The digital magazine featured some of Bugs-n-Blooms’ most popular items, nylon butterfly wings, as well as showcasing smaller versions of their nylon dragonfly decor, nylon ladybug decor, nylon bee decor and nylon flower decor. All products displayed in the magazine’s feature were shown in soft, pastel hues, typically at home in little girls’ rooms and nurseries. However, some products are also offered in more vivid and vibrant color schemes to better suit the tastes of older girls as well.
The winter edition of Tots to Teens Magazine was a holiday guide, and Jennifer DeVol, owner of Bugs-n-Blooms, admits she is honored to have been asked to be included in the publication. “Our products are uniquely suited for babies and little girls, or parents of little girls that wish to have dreamy and magical decorations in their daughter’s rooms that can spark the imagination and add a touch of whimsy,” explains DeVol. “But our garden themed accessories can be equally at home in an older girl’s room. I was happy to see our products displayed next to a girl’s bedding set which would fit in a girl’s bedroom of almost any age, because it was easy to see how nicely our products can enhance almost any feminine decor. Although generally thought of as products geared just to babies and very young girls, our garden decor can truly suit girls of just about any age, from tots to teens.”
DeVol originally created her company when seeking inspiring decorations for her own daughter’s room. Since the beginning, she has listened to requests and ideas from her customers and has vastly increased her product line to meet those requests, adding different designs, different materials, and different color combinations. The nylon butterfly wings, among her original products and still most popular, come in multi-tiered versions and sport embellishments that include glitter, sequins, gems and ribbon. “Our products are all about brightening the day of girls of all ages – and for the last eight years, we have been doing just that.”

What could be more beautiful and feminine than a butterfly? Their graceful nature and pretty colors make butterflies one of the most special motifs to use for a wedding. These are some marvelous butterfly decorations which would add a touch of whimsy to any wedding.
The neat thing about using butterflies as a wedding decoration is that they are small and pretty. They can be used sparingly for one or two surprise details, or as a unifying theme throughout your wedding. A lovely place to begin is with wedding stationery which is either stamped or embossed with a butterfly in flight. It would look lovely done in a either dark pink or purple against a paper in a paler shade of the same color for a soft tonal effect.
All little girls love butterflies, so if you use butterflies in only one part of your wedding, let it be the flower girl’s attire. Start with butterfly motif flower girl jewelry. A dainty pendant featuring a sparkling crystal butterfly would be the ideal jewelry gift for a flower girl of any age. Next, there is her dress. A white organza flower girl dress can be embellished by stitching on small lace appliques in the shape of butterflies. Let them be more heavy near the hem of the gown, and scattered more lightly towards the top of the dress so it looks like they are taking flight. If you really want to go all out with the theme, use a flower girl dress in a solid color organza, and let your little one prance down the aisle wearing a set of beautiful butterfly wings.
Butterflies and flowers go hand in hand, so the wedding flowers would be a natural next place to decorate with butterflies. Colorful mixed bouquets would be even more special with a few butterflies on long wires tucked in between the flowers so they appear to be perched on the blossoms. Choose from silk, feather, or even enamel butterflies in an array of colors. To make a very bold statement, create a bridal bouquet entirely out of feather and silk butterflies, formed into a nosegay shape. If this feels like too much of a good thing for the bride, a scaled down version would be absolutely adorable for the flower girl and junior bridesmaids.
Rather than the standard white place cards, why not use die cut butterfly cards to graciously welcome guests to their seats at the reception? Simply pen the name of each guest onto a piece of heavy card stock in a butterfly shape, cut a slit into it, and perch it gracefully onto the rim of a wineglass at each place setting. As a great tie in, the same shaped paper could be used for the escort cards. Create a butterfly tree with the name and table numbers suspended from branches. This would be an equally lovely idea for an indoor or an outdoor reception.
The final wedding element to decorate with butterflies is the wedding cake. A scattering of the graceful winged creatures going up the tiers of the cake would be a gorgeous sweet ending to any wedding. The butterfly theme is so elegant and whimsical that it is sure to add a touch of magic to your wedding.

DESIGN COMPANY FEATURED IN “ORLANDO SENTINEL” NEWS PIECE
Bugs-n-Blooms Helps Parents Create Amazing Nurseries on a Budget
April 13, 2010 – Prosper, Texas – Bugs-n-Blooms, the premiere retailer of butterfly nursery decorations, has recently been featured in an Orlando Sentinel article aimed at helping parents decorate nurseries on a budget.
Although it costs between $2,000-$6,000 to outfit the average nursery, savvy parents can save thousands by using online retailers to find great deals on everything from basinets and cribs to nylon butterfly decorations. Jennifer De Vol, owner of Bugs-n-Blooms, is also happy to assist parents as they choose the perfect decor accents.
“Decals from Bugs-n-Blooms.com add inexpensive, and removable, accents to infant and toddler rooms,” the Orlando Sentinel article reads. The butterfly decorations (and almost all other wall accents) purchased from Bugs-n-Blooms are easily removed from nursery walls, enabling the nursery to grow with the child.
Of course, this isn’t DeVol’s first time making major news. Her decorations have been wildly popular with parents (celebrity and otherwise) ever since she launched her company. Products from Bugs-n-Blooms have also been featured on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and in a March issue of OK! Magazine. For parents looking for something specific, DeVol’s team can also create custom designs.

Pink. Floaty. Sparkly. Butterflies.
There is absolutely NOTHING there that is not to love!
“Meet Bugs-n-Blooms, a darling little e-boutique of whimsical flutterbys and girly-bugs. When I saw them in a gift shop years ago. I bought some lovely lavender and green ones on the spot, (a baby gift). Years later again for my neice’s “Big Girl Room” (pink and black it was, so the ladybugs and dragonflies in varying sizes were just the ticket ). And just this week a few sparkly friends are on their way to bless a wee one just about to make her arrival in the world.
If I could come up with a valid excuse, I’d buy some for myself, too. *sigh*
Such is the life of a mom of boys!
Dragonflies, bumblebees, daisies, butterflies in an array of on-trend colors, glitter, fur and sequins (again, isn’t everything in that sentence just delish?) there’s a bug for every little bloom! Oh, and they have wings and tutus, too.”
Oh to be five again!
